1 # Gn 1.27,28 This is the list of the descendants of Adam. He had other children 5and died at the age of 930.

6When Seth was 105, he had a son, Enosh, 7and then lived another 807 years. He had other children 8and died at the age of 912.

9When Enosh was 90, he had a son, Kenan, 10and then lived another 815 years. He had other children 11and died at the age of 905.

12When Kenan was 70, he had a son, Mahalalel, 13and then lived another 840 years. He had other children 14and died at the age of 910.

15When Mahalalel was 65, he had a son, Jared, 16and then lived another 830 years. He had other children 17and died at the age of 895.

18When Jared was 162, he had a son, Enoch, 19and then lived another 800 years. He had other children 20and died at the age of 962.

21When Enoch was 65, he had a son, Methuselah. 22After that, Enoch lived in fellowship with God for 300 years and had other children. 23He lived to be 365 years old. 24#Si 44.16; 49.14; He 11.5; Jd 14 He spent his life in fellowship with God, and then he disappeared, because God took him away.

25When Methuselah was 187, he had a son, Lamech, 26and then lived another 782 years. He had other children 27and died at the age of 969.

28When Lamech was 182, he had a son 29and said, “From the very ground on which the Lord put a curse, this child will bring us relief from all our hard work”; so he named him Noah.#5.29: Noah: This name sounds like the Hebrew for “relief.” 30Lamech lived another 595 years. He had other children 31and died at the age of 777.

32After Noah was 500 years old, he had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

The Generations of Adam

1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. 2He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them #5:2 Lit AdamMan in the day when they were created.

3When Adam had lived 130 years, he #5:3 Lit begot, so in chbecame the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. 4Then the days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were 800 years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 5So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

6And Seth lived 105 years and became the father of Enosh. 7Then Seth lived 807 years after he became the father of Enosh, and he had other sons and daughters. 8So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.

9And Enosh lived 90 years and became the father of Kenan. 10Then Enosh lived 815 years after he became the father of Kenan, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 11So all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.

12And Kenan lived 70 years and became the father of Mahalalel. 13Then Kenan lived 840 years after he became the father of Mahalalel, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 14So all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died.

15And Mahalalel lived 65 years and became the father of Jared. 16Then Mahalalel lived 830 years after he became the father of Jared, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 17So all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.

18And Jared lived 162 years and became the father of Enoch. 19Then Jared lived 800 years after he became the father of Enoch, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 20So all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.

21And Enoch lived 65 years and became the father of Methuselah. 22Then Enoch walked with God 300 years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 23So all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

25And Methuselah lived 187 years and became the father of Lamech. 26Then Methuselah lived 782 years after he became the father of Lamech, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 27So all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.

28And Lamech lived 182 years and became the father of a son. 29Now he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will #5:29 Lit comfort us ingive us rest from our work and from the pain of our hands arising from the ground which Yahweh has cursed.” 30Then Lamech lived 595 years after he became the father of Noah, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 31So all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.

32And Noah was 500 years old, and Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
