Isaias (Isaiah) 12
12
1AND thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me. Thy wrath is turned away: and thou hast comforted me.
2Behold, God is my saviour: I will deal confidently, and will not fear, because the Lord is my strength and my praise, and he is become my salvation.
3You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour's fountains.
4And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name. Make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.
5Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.
6Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.

although you were angry with me.
Your anger has turned away,
and you have comforted me.#Is 40:1

I will trust him and not be afraid,
for the Lord, the Lord himself,
is my strength and my song.
He has become my salvation.”#Ex 15:2; Ps 118:14
3You will joyfully draw water#Jn 4:10; 7:37–38
from the springs of salvation,
4and on that day you will say,
“Give thanks to the Lord; proclaim his name!
Make his works known among the peoples.#1Ch 16:8; Ps 105:1; 145:4
Declare that his name is exalted.
5Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things.#Ex 15:1; Ps 98:1; Is 24:14; 42:10–11; 44:23
