Isaiah 12
12
1And in that day thou shalt say, Jehovah, I will praise thee; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me. 2Behold, ·God#GodHebrew: El is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for Jah, Jehovah, is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation. 3And with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
4And in that day shall ye say, Give ye thanks to Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his deeds among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted. 5Sing psalms of Jehovah, for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. 6Cry out and shout, thou inhabitress of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Hymn of Thanksgiving
1A day is coming when people will sing,
“I praise you, LORD! You were angry with me,
but now you comfort me and are angry no longer.

Ex 15.2; Ps 118.14 God is my saviour;
I will trust him and not be afraid.
The LORD gives me power and strength;
he is my saviour.
3As fresh water brings joy to the thirsty,
so God's people rejoice when he saves them.”
4A day is coming when people will sing,
“Give thanks to the LORD! Call for him to help you!
Tell all the nations what he has done!
Tell them how great he is!
5Sing to the LORD because of the great things he has done.
Let the whole world hear the news.
6Let everyone who lives in Zion shout and sing!
Israel's holy God is great,
and he lives among his people.”
