Isaiah 2
2
1The worde that Isaiah the sonne of Amoz sawe vpon Iudah and Ierusalem. 2It shall be in the last dayes, that the mountaine of the house of the Lord shalbe prepared in the top of the mountaines, and shall be exalted aboue the hilles, and all nations shall flowe vnto it. 3And many people shall go, and say, Come, and let vs go vp to the mountaine of the Lord, to the house of the God of Iaakob, and hee will teach vs his wayes, and we will walke in his paths: for the Lawe shall go foorth of Zion, and the worde of the Lord from Ierusalem, 4And he shall iudge among the nations, and rebuke many people: they shall breake their swords also into mattocks, and their speares into siethes: nation shall not lift vp a sworde against nation, neither shall they learne to fight any more. 5O house of Iaakob, come ye, and let vs walke in the Lawe of the Lord. 6Surely thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Iaakob, because they are full of the East maners, and are sorcerers as the Philistims, and abound with strange children. 7Their land also was full of siluer and golde, and there was none ende of their treasures: and their land was full of horses, and their charets were infinite. 8Their land also was full of idols: they worshipped the worke of their owne hands, which their owne fingers haue made. 9And a man bowed himselfe, and a man humbled himselfe: therefore spare them not. 10Enter into the rocke, and hide thee in the dust from before the feare of the Lord, and from the glory of his maiestie. 11The hie looke of man shall be humbled, and the loftinesse of men shalbe abased, and the Lord onely shall be exalted in that day. 12For the day of the Lord of hostes is vpon all the proude and hautie, and vpon all that is exalted: and it shalbe made lowe. 13Euen vpon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are hie and exalted, and vpon all the okes of Bashan, 14And vpon all the hie mountaines, and vpon all the hilles that are lifted vp, 15And vpon euery hie tower, and vpon euery strong wall, 16And vpon all the shippes of Tarshish, and vpon all pleasant pictures. 17And the hautinesse of men shalbe brought low, and the loftinesse of men shalbe abased, and the Lord shall onely be exalted in that day. 18And the idoles will he vtterly destroy. 19Then they shall goe into the holes of the rockes, and into the caues of the earth, from before the feare of the Lord, and from the glory of his maiestie, when he shall arise to destroy the earth. 20At that day shall man cast away his siluer idoles, and his golden idoles (which they had made themselues to worship them) to the mowles and to the backes, 21To goe into the holes of the rockes, and into the toppes of the ragged rockes from before the feare of the Lord, and from the glory of his maiestie, when he shall rise to destroy the earth. 22Cease you from the man whose breath is in his nostrels: for wherein is he to be esteemed?

Yeshayah (Isaiah) 2
2
1The word that Yeshayahu the son of Amots saw concerning Yehuḏah and Yerushalayim:
2And it shall be in the latter days that the mountain of the House of יהוה is established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills. And all nations shall flow to it.
3And many peoples shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of יהוה, to the House of the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ, and let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word of יהוה from Yerushalayim.”
4And He shall judge between the nations, and shall reprove many peoples. And they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither teach battle any more.
5O house of Ya‛aqoḇ, come and let us walk in the light of יהוה.
6For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Ya‛aqoḇ, because they have been filled from the East, and practise magic like the Philistines, and they are pleased with the children of foreigners.
7And their land is filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures. And their land is filled with horses, and there is no end to their chariots.
8And their land is filled with idols; they bow themselves to the work of their own hands, to what their own fingers have made.
9And the lowly bows down, and the high is humbled; therefore You do not forgive them.
10Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, because of the fear of יהוה and the splendour of His excellency.
11The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the pride of men shall be bowed down, and יהוה alone shall be exalted in that day.
12For יהוה of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up, so that it is brought low;
13and against all the cedars of Leḇanon that are high and lifted up, and against all the oaks of Bashan;
14and against all the high mountains, and against all the hills that are lifted up;
15and against every lofty tower, and against every strong wall;
16and against all the ships of Tarshish, and against all the desirable craft.
17And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the pride of men shall be brought low. And יהוה alone shall be exalted in that day,
18and the idols completely pass away.
19And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, from dread of יהוה and the splendour of His excellency, when He arises to shake the earth mightily.
20In that day man shall throw away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which they made, each for himself to worship, to the moles and bats,
21to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the crags of the rugged rocks, because of the fear of יהוה and the splendour of His excellency, when He arises to shake the earth mightily.
22Cease from man, whose breath is in his nostrils, for in what is he to be reckoned upon?
