Isaiah 12
12
1And thou shalt say in that day, O Lord, I will prayse thee: though thou wast angrie with me, thy wrath is turned away, and thou comfortest me. 2Beholde, God is my saluation: I will trust, and will not feare: for ye Lord God is my strength and song: he also is become my saluation. 3Therefore with ioy shall ye drawe waters out of the welles of saluation. 4And ye shall say in that day, Prayse the Lord: call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people: make mention of them, for his Name is exalted. 5Sing vnto the Lord, for he hath done excellent things: this is knowen in all the worlde. 6Cry out, and shoute, O inhabitant of Zion: for great is ye holy one of Israel in the middes of thee.

A Song of Praise
1On that day you will say:
“I will give thanks to you, Lord,
although you were angry with me.
Your anger has turned away,
and you have comforted me.#Is 40:1
2Indeed, God is my salvation;
I will trust him and not be afraid,
for the Lord, the Lord himself,
is my strength and my song.
He has become my salvation.”#Ex 15:2; Ps 118:14
3You will joyfully draw water#Jn 4:10; 7:37–38
from the springs of salvation,
4and on that day you will say,
“Give thanks to the Lord; proclaim his name!
Make his works known among the peoples.#1Ch 16:8; Ps 105:1; 145:4
Declare that his name is exalted.
5Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things.#Ex 15:1; Ps 98:1; Is 24:14; 42:10–11; 44:23
Let this be known throughout the earth.
6Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion,
for the Holy One of Israel#Is 1:4 is among you
in his greatness.”
