Psalms 3
3
A Psalm (sacred song about or to God) of David [Beloved], when he fled from Avshalom [My Father is Peace] his son.
1Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], how are they increased that trouble me! many [are] they that rise up against me.
2Many [there be] which say of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].
3But youi, O Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], [are] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
4I cried unto the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].
5I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] sustained me.
6I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me round about.
7Arise, O Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; save me, O my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: for youi have smitten all my enemies [upon] the cheek bone; youi have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8Salvation [belongs] unto the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: youri blessing [is] upon youri people. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].
