Isaiah 51

51
1Listen to me, you2f that follow after righteousness, you2f that seek the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): look unto the rock [from what place] you2f are cut, and to the hole of the pit [from what place] you2f are excavated.
2Look unto Avraham [Exalted Father] your father, and unto Serach [The Prince Breathed] [that] bore you: for I called him alone, and Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) him, and increased him.
3For the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall comfort Tziyon [parched place]: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like ‘Eden [pleasure], and her desert like the Garden of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4Listen unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a Torah shall proceed from me, and I will calm them with my justice for a light of the people.
5My righteousness [is] near; my salvation is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on my arm shall they trust.
6Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall grow (become; advance) old like a garment, and they that dwell in it shall die in like manner: but my Salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
7Listen unto me, you2f that know righteousness, the people in whose heart [is] my law; fear you2f not the reproach (disgrace; shame) of men, neither be you2f afraid of their revilings.
8For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
9Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. [Are] youi not it that has cut Rachav [Wide], [and] wounded the dragon?
10 [Are] youi not it which has dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that has made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
11Therefore the redeemed of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall return, and come with singing unto Tziyon [parched place]; and everlasting joy [shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
12I, [even] I, [am] he that comforts you: who [are] youi, that youi should be afraid of a man [that] shall die, and of the Son of man [which] shall be made [as] grass;
13And forgets the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youri maker, that has stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where [is] the fury of the oppressor?
14The captive exile hastens that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
15But I [am] the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youri God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] [is] his name.
16And I have put my words in youri mouth, and I have covered youi in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Tziyon [parched place], youi [are] my people.
17Awake, awake, stand up, O Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], which have drunk at the hand of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) the cup of his fury; youi have drunken the dregs (grounds at the bottom of a cup) of the cup of trembling, [and] wrung [them] out.
18 [There is] none to guide her among all the sons [whom] she has brought forth; neither [is there any] that takes her by the hand of all the sons [that] she has brought up.
19These two [things] are come unto youi; who shall be sorry for youi? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort youi?
20Your1s sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), the rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) of youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].
21Therefore hear now this, youi afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
22Thus says youri Lord (Adon) [Lord of the earth] the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and youri God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [that] pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of youri hand the cup of trembling, [even] the dregs (grounds at the bottom of a cup) of the cup of my fury; youi shall no more drink it again:
23But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict youi; which have said to youri soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and youi have laid youri body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
