Isaiah 47

47
1Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], sit on the ground: [there is] no throne, O daughter of the Kasdim [clod-breakers]: for youi shall no more be called tender and delicate.
2Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover youri locks, make bore the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
3You1s nakedness shall be uncovered, yes, youri shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet [youi as] a man.
4 [As for] our redeemer, the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] [is] his name, the Holy One of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God].
5Sit youi silent, and get youi into darkness, O daughter of the Kasdim [clod-breakers]: for youi shall no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
6I was exceedingly angry with my people, I have polluted my inheritance, and given them into youri hand: youi did show them no mercy; upon the ancient have youi very heavily laid youri yoke.
7And youi said, I shall be a lady forever: [so] that youi did not lay these [things] to youri heart, neither did remember the latter end of it.
8Therefore hear now this, [youi that are] given to pleasures, that dwell carelessly, that say in youri heart, I [am], and none else beside me; I shall not sit [as] a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
9But these two [things] shall come to youi in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon youi in their perfection for the multitude of youri sorceries, [and] for the great abundance of youri enchantments.
10For youi have trusted in youri wickedness: youi have said, None sees me. Your1s wisdom and youri knowledge, it has perverted youi; and youi have said in youri heart, I [am], and none else beside me.
11Therefore shall evil come upon youi; youi shall not know from what place it rises: and mischief shall fall upon youi; youi shall not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon youi suddenly, [which] youi shall not know.
12Stand now with youri enchantments, and with the multitude of youri sorceries, wherein youi have laboured from youi youth; if so be youi shall be able to profit, if so be youi may prevail.
13youi are wearied in the multitude of youri counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly Prognosticators (foretellers of the future), stand up, and save youi from [these things] that shall come upon youi.
14Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: [there shall] not [be] a coal to warm at, [nor] fire to sit before it.
15Thus shall they be unto youi with whom youi have laboured, [even] youri merchants, from youri youth: they shall wander everyone to his quarter; none shall save youi.
