Psalms 128
128
A Song of Ascents.
1Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD,
That walketh in his ways.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands:
Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thine house:
Thy children like olive plants, round about thy table.
4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed
That feareth the LORD.
5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion:
And thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children.
Peace be upon Israel.

The Blessings of the Lord
A song of the stairway
1How joyous are those who love the Lord and bow low before God,
ready to obey him!
2Your reward will be prosperity, happiness, and well-being.
3Your wife will bless your heart and home.
Your children will bring you joy as they gather around your table.
4Yes, this is God’s generous reward for those who love him.
5May the Lord bless you out of his Zion-glory!
May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
throughout your lifetime.
6And may you be surrounded by your grandchildren.
Happiness to you! And happiness to Israel!
