Psalms 123
123
A Prayer for Mercy
A song of the stairway
1O God-Enthroned in heaven, I lift my eyes toward you in worship.
2The way I love you
is like the way a servant wants to please his master,
the way a maid waits for the orders of her mistress.
We look to you, our God, with passionate longing
to please you and discover more of your mercy and grace.
3-4For we’ve had more than our fill of this scoffing and scorn—
this mistreatment by the wealthy elite.
Lord, show us your mercy!
Lord, show us your grace!

A Song of degrees.
1Unto youi lift I up mine eyes, O youi that dwell in the heavens.
2Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] unto the hand of their masters, [and] as the eyes of a virgin unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes [wait] upon the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], until that he have mercy upon us.
3Have mercy upon us, O Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, [and] with the contempt of the proud.
