Psalms 122
122
Jerusalem
A song of the stairway by King David # 122 David wrote this song for the people to sing for the feasts. It was sung when the worshipers entered the gates of Jerusalem.
1I was overjoyed when they said,
“Let’s go up to the house of the Lord.”
2And now at last we stand here, inside the very gates of Jerusalem!
3O Jerusalem, you were built as a city of praise,
where God and man mingle together. # 122:3 The Hebrew phrase “a city bound together” is taken from a root word that means “joined, united, coupled.” By inference in the context, it is the city where God dwells and man worships.
4This is where all the tribes of Yahweh are required
to come and worship him.
5This is where the thrones of kings have been established
to rule in righteousness;
even King David ruled from here.
6Pray and seek for Jerusalem’s peace,
for all who love her will prosper!
7O Jerusalem, may there be peace for those
who dwell inside your walls
and prosperity in your every palace.
8I intercede for the sake of my family and friends
who dwell there, that they may all live in peace.
9For the sake of your house, Yahweh our God,
I will seek the welfare and prosperity of Jerusalem.

A Song of degrees of David [Beloved].
1I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].
2Our feet shall stand within youri gates, O Yerushalayim [Foundation Of Peace].
3Yerushalayim [Foundation Of Peace] is built as a city that is compact together:
4To where the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord- Yah [Behold The Hand] (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), unto the testimony of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel of God], to give thanks unto the name of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].
5For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David [Beloved].
6Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim [Foundation Of Peace]: they shall prosper that love youi.
7Peace be within youri walls, [and] prosperity within youri palaces.
8For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace [be] within youi.
9Because of the house of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] I will seek youri good.
