Security in God

1God, hear my cry;
pay attention to my prayer.#Ps 17:1; 88:2; 142:6
2I call to you from the ends of the earth
when my heart is without strength.#Ps 88:4
Lead me to a rock that is high above me,#Ps 27:5
3for you have been a refuge for me,
a strong tower#Pr 18:10 in the face of the enemy.
4I will dwell in your tent forever
and take refuge under the shelter of your wings.#Ru 2:12; Ps 17:8; 91:4Selah
5God, you have heard my vows;#Jb 22:27; Ps 56:12
you have given a heritage
to those who fear your name.#Mal 4:2
6Add days to the king’s life;
may his years span many generations.#Ps 21:4
7May he sit enthroned before God forever.#Ps 41:12
Appoint faithful love and truth to guard him.#Ps 40:11
8Then I will continually sing of your name,#Ps 7:17; 9:2; 18:49
fulfilling my vows day by day.#Ps 65:1; 116:14,18
