Psalms 23

PSALM 23
Common Meter: 8,6,8,6
1The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want.
2He makes me down to lie
In pastures green: he leadeth me
the quiet waters by.
3My soul he doth restore again;
and me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness,
ev'n for his own name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale,
yet will I fear none ill:
For thou art with me; and thy rod
and staff me comfort still.
5My table thou hast furnished
in presence of my foes;
My head thou dost with oil anoint,
and my cup overflows.
6Goodness and mercy all my life
shall surely follow me:
And in God's house for evermore
my dwelling-place shall be.

Psalms 23
23
A Psalm (sacred song about or to God) of David [Beloved].
1Yehovah Ro’i [Messiah Pre-Incarnate My shepherd]; I shall not lack.
2He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
3He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for youi [are] with me; youri rod and youri staff they comfort me.
5youi prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: youi anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] forever.
