Psalms 126

PSALM 126
Common Meter: 8,6,8,6
1When Sion's bondage God turn'd back,
as men that dream'd were we.
2Then fill'd with laughter was our mouth,
our tongue with melody:
They 'mong the heathen said, The Lord
great things for them hath wrought.
3The Lord hath done great things for us,
whence joy to us is brought.
4As streams of water in the south,
our bondage, Lord, recall.
5Who sow in tears, a reaping time
of joy enjoy they shall.
6That man who, bearing precious seed,
in going forth doth mourn,
He doubtless, bringing back his sheaves,
rejoicing shall return.

Psalms 126
126
A Song of degrees.
1When the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] turned again the captivity of Tziyon [Parched Place], we were like them that dream.
2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] has done great things for them.
3The Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] has done great things for us; [whereof] we are glad.
4Turn again our captivity, O Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], as the streams in the south.
5They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him].
