Mattityahu 25
25
1Then the Malchut HaShomayim will be compared to ten alamot (young unmarried virgins), who, having taken their menorahs, went out to meet the Choson (Bridegroom).
2Now five of them were foolish and five were wise.
3When the foolish took their menorahs, they neglected to take shemen (oil).
4But the wise took shemen in containers with their menorahs.
5Now the Choson, being delayed, here is what happened: all the alamot became drowsy and were sleeping.
6And at chatsot halailah (midnight) there was a shout, Hinei! The Choson (Bridegroom)! Go out to meet him!
7Then all the ten alamot awakened and they trimmed their menorahs.
8But the foolish said to the wise, Give us from your shemen (oil), for our menorahs are going out.
9But the wise answered, saying, Perhaps there might not be enough for us and for you. Instead, you go to the ones selling and buy for yourselves.
10And as they were going away to buy, the Bias of the Choson (Bridegroom) occurred! The ones prepared entered with him into the Chasunoh (Wedding) feast and the door was shut.
11And later, here comes also the other alamot, saying, Adoneinu, Adoneinu, open the door for us.
12But he, in reply, said, Omein, I say to you, I do not know you.
13Be shomer, be on the alert, therefore, for you do not have daas of the Yom or the Shaah (hour, time).
14For it is as a man going on a journey, who called to his own avadim (slaves) and handed over to them his possessions.
15And to this one, he gave five talents, and to this one, two, and to this one, one, each according to his own ability. Then the man went on his journey. Immediately
16after the man had gone, the one having received the five talents, went to work with them, and gained five others.
17Likewise, the one having received the two talents, this one gained two others.
18But the one, having received one, went out and dug a hole in the ground and buried the gelt (money) of his Adon in a hiding place.
19And after much time, here comes the Adon of those servants. And he conducts a settling of accounts with them.
20Then the one who had received five talents came forward, bringing five more talents, saying, Adoni, five talents you gave me. Hinei! Five more talents I gained.
21And his Adon said to him, Shkoyach (well done), eved tov vneeman (good and faithful servant)! A few things you were faithful over, over many things I will ordain you. Enter into the simchah of your Adon.
22And having come forward, the one having received two talents, said, You bestowed upon me two talents. Hinei! Two more talents I gained.
23His Adon said to him, Shkoyach (well done), eved tov vneeman! A few things you were faithful over, over many things I will ordain you. Enter into the simcha of your Adon.
24And also the one who had received one talent stepped forward. He said, Adoni, I knew that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering from that which you did not scatter seed.
25And having been afraid and having gone away, I hid your talent by burying it in the ground. Here, see, you have that which belongs to you.
26And, in reply, his Adon said to him, You farbissener (mean) eved rah vatzel (wicked and lazy slave), so you had daas that I reap where I did not sow and I gather from which I did not scatter seed?
27Then why was it not necessary for you to deposit my gelt with the bankers, and having returned, I would have received back that which was mine with interest?
28Take, therefore, from him the talent and give it to the one having the ten talents.
29For to every one having, it will be given and he will have abundance; but from the one not having, even what he has will be taken from him.
30And as for the useless slave, throw him into the outer choshech, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
31And when the Bar Enosh#25:31 Dan 7:13 comes, in his kavod and all his malachim with him, then he will sit upon his Kissei Kavod (Glorious Throne).
32And there will be assembled all the Goyim, and he will separate them from each other as the Roeh (the Shepherd) separates the Kevasim (Sheep) from the Izzim (Goats).
33And he will put the Kevasim on the right of him, but the Izzim on his left.
34Then he will say to the ones on his right, Come! Baruchei Avi (Blessed of my Father), receive the bechorah (inheritance), the Malchut prepared for you from before Hivvased HaOlam (the establishing of the world).
35For I hungered and you gave me something to eat. I thirsted and you gave drink to me. I was a sojourner, and you extended hachnosas orchim (hospitality) to me.
36I was naked and you gave me malbish arumim (clothing the naked). I was ill; with bikkur cholim (visiting the sick) you ministered to me. I was in the beit hasohar (prison); you came to me.
37Then the tzaddikim will answer him,#25:37 Moshiach Adoneinu, when did we see you hungering and we fed you, or thirsting and we gave you drink?
38And when did we see you a sojourner and we extended hachnosas orchim (hospitality) to you, or naked and we clothed you?
39And when did we see you ill or in the beit hasohar and we came to you?
40And in reply, HaMelech#25:40 HaMoshiach will say to them, Omein, I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these achim of mine, you did it to me.
41Then Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach will say also to the ones on his left, Depart from me, the ones having been cursed, into the Eish Olam having been prepared for HaSatan and his malachim.
42For I hungered and you did not give me something to eat; I thirsted and you did not give drink to me.
43I was a sojourner and you did not extend hachnosas orchim to me; I was naked and you did not clothe me; ill and in the beit hasohar and you did not visit me.
44Then, also they will answer, saying,#25:44 Moshiach Adoneinu, when did we see you hungering or thirsting or a sojourner or naked or sick or in the beit hasohar and we did not minister to you?
45Then he will answer them, saying, Omein, I say to you, in as much as you did not do it for one of these least ones, neither did you do it for me.
46And these will go away into Onesh Olam (Eternal Punishment), but the tzaddikim into Chayyei Olam (Eternal Life).#25:46 Isa 66:24; Dan 12:2

Matthew 25
25
1Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome. 2And fiue of them were wise, and fiue foolish. 3The foolish tooke their lampes, but tooke none oyle with them. 4But the wise tooke oyle in their vessels with their lampes. 5Nowe while the bridegrome taried long, all slumbred and slept. 6And at midnight there was a crie made, Behold, the bridegrome commeth: goe out to meete him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lampes. 8And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues. 10And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut. 11Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs. 12But he answered, and said, Verely I say vnto you, I knowe you not. 13Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come. 14For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods. 15And vnto one he gaue fiue talents, and to an other two, and to another one, to euery man after his own ability, and straightway went from home. 16Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them, and gained other fiue talents. 17Likewise also, he that receiued two, he also gained other two. 18But he that receiued that one, went and digged it in the earth, and hid his masters money. 19But after a long season, the master of those seruants came, and reckoned with them. 20Then came he that had receiued fiue talents, and brought other fiue talents, saying, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me fiue talents: behold, I haue gained with them other fiue talents. 21Then his master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy. 22Also he that had receiued two talents, came, and said, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me two talents: behold, I haue gained two other talets more. 23His master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant, and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy. 24Then he which had receiued the one talent, came, and said, Master, I knewe that thou wast an hard man, which reapest where thou sowedst not, and gatherest where thou strawedst not: 25I was therefore afraide, and went, and hid thy talent in the earth: behold, thou hast thine owne. 26And his master answered, and said vnto him, Thou euill seruant, and slouthfull, thou knewest that I reape where I sowed not, and gather where I strawed not. 27Thou oughtest therefore to haue put my money to ye exchangers, and then at my comming should I haue receiued mine owne with vantage. 28Take therefore the talent from him, and giue it vnto him which hath tenne talents. 29For vnto euery man that hath, it shall be giuen, and he shall haue abundance, and from him that hath not, euen that he hath, shalbe taken away. 30Cast therefore that vnprofitable seruant into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnasshing of teeth. 31And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie, 32And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates. 33And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left. 34Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you. 36I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me. 37Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke? 38And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee? 39Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee? 40And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me. 41Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels. 42For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke: 43I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee? 45Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46And these shall goe into euerlasting paine, and the righteous into life eternall.
