Mattityahu 24
24
1And having exited from the Beis Hamikdash, Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach departed, and his talmidim approached to show him the buildings of the Beis Hamikdash.
2But he said in reply to them, Do you not see all these things? Omein, I say to you, by no means will be left here one stone upon another, for all will be demolished.
3And while Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, his talmidim approached him in a yechidus, saying, Tell us ad mosai (how much longer), when will these things be and what about the ot (sign) of the Bias Moshiach, of your Coming, and the Ketz HaOlam Hazeh?
4And Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said in reply to them, See to it that someone does not deceive you.
5For many will come in my Name, saying, I am the Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach. And they will deceive many.
6But you are about to hear about milchamot (wars) and rumors of milchamot. See to it that you are not alarmed, for it is necessary for this to happen, but it is not yet HaKetz (the End).
7For there will be an intifada of ethnic group against ethnic group, and malchut against malchut. There will be famines, pestilences, earthquakes in various places.
8But all these things are but the beginning of the Chevlei.#24:8 Moshiach
9Then they will hand you over to tzoros and they will kill you and you will be hated by all the ethnic groups on account of the Name of me (Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua, Yeshua).
10And then many will be led into chet (sin), and others they will hand over, and they will hate others.
11And many neviei sheker (false prophets) will arise and will deceive many.
12And because of the increased mufkarut#24:12 Mt 7:23 (lawlessness, anarchy), the agape (love) of many will become cold.
13But the one having endured to HaKetz (the End), this one will receive Yeshu'at Eloheinu.
14And this Besuras HaGeulah of the Malchut will be announced in kol haOlam (all the world) as an edut to all the Goyim, and then will come HaKetz (the End).
15Therefore, when you see the SHIKUTS MESHOMEM#24:15 Mk 13:14 (Abomination of Desolation), the thing spoken through Daniel HaNavi, having stood in the Makom Kadosh (Holy Place),#24:15 i.e., the Beis Hamikdash — let the reader understand!
16— Then the ones in Yehudah, let them flee to the mountains.
17The one upon the roof, let him not come down to carry away the things from his bais (house).
18And the one in the field, let him not turn back to get his kaftan.
19But oy to the ones with child and the ones with nursing infants in those days.
20But offer tefillos that your escape may not be in winter or on Shabbos.
21For then will be Tzarah Gedolah (Great Tribulation) such as has not been from Reshit HaOlam (Beginning of the World) until now nor will it by any means happen again.
22And if those days were not cut short, kol basar (all flesh) would not be saved. But, on account of the Kedoshim, the Bechirim (Chosen Ones), those days will be cut short.
23Then, if someone says to you, Hinei, here is the Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach! Or, Hinei! Here! Do not have emunah (faith).#24:23 in that
24For meshichei sheker (false Moshiachs) will arise, and neviei sheker (false prophets), and they will give otot gedolim (great signs) and moftim (wonders), so as to deceive, if possible, even the Bechirim (Chosen ones).
25Hinei! I have told you beforehand!
26If, therefore, they say to you, Hinei! He#24:26 Moshiach is in the desert! Do not go out.#24:26 there Hinei! [Moshiach] is in the secret cheder (room)! Do not have emunah.#24:26 in that
27For as lightning goes out from the mizrach (east) and shines to as far as the maarav (west), thus will be the Bias HaMoshiach#24:27 Dan 7:13 (coming of the Messiah, the Bar Enosh, Son of Man).
28Wherever the place of the Geviya (Corpse) is, there will be gathered together the nesharim (vultures, eagles).#24:28 popularly
29Immediately after the Tzarah#24:29 Mt 24:21 (Tribulation) of those days, the shemesh will be darkened, and the levanah will not give its light. And the kokhavim will fall from Shomayim, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30And then will appear the Ot Bar Enosh (the Sign of the Son of Man) in Shomayim. All the tribes of kol haaretz (all the earth) will see the Bar Enosh Moshiach and his Bias, his Coming, on the ananim of Shomayim (clouds of glory of Heaven) with gevurah (power) and great kavod (glory).
31Moshiach will send his malachim with a loud blast of the Shofar, and the malachim will gather together Moshiachʼs Bechirim from the four winds, from one end of Shomayim to the other.
32And from the etz teenah (fig tree), learn its parabolic lesson: when its branch has become tender already and sprouts leaves, you know that Kayitz (Summer) is near;
33thus also you, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the very doors.
34Omein, I say to you, that this dor (generation) will by no means pass away until all these things come about.
35Shomayim v'HaAretz will pass away, but my Dvar will by no means pass away.
36But concerning that day and hour, no one has daas, not the malachim of Shomayim, but only HaAv (the Father) of me.
37For as in the days of Noach, thus will be the Bias HaMoshiach, the Coming of the Bar Enosh.
38For as they were in those days before HaMabbul (the Flood), eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noach entered the Tevah,
39and they did not have daas until HaMabbul came and took away everything — thus also will be the Bias HaMoshiach, the Coming of the Bar Enosh.
40Then two men will be in the field, one is snatched away, and one is left behind (not retained).
41Two women are grinding in the mill house, one is snatched away, one is left behind.
42So be shomer, be on your guard, because you do not have daas on which day will be the Bias of#24:42 Moshiach Adoneichem (your L-rd).
43But understand this: if the Baal Bayit had known in which watch the ganav is coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have allowed his bais to be dug through.
44For this reason also you be shomer, for in the hour when you do not think, then will be the Bias HaMoshiach#24:44 Dan 7:13 (the Coming of the Bar Enosh).
45Who then is the faithful and wise eved (servant), whom the Adon appointed over the household servants to give the other servants their okhel at the prescribed time?
46Ashrey (happy) is that eved whom, when his Adon comes, finds him so doing.
47Omein, I say to you, the Adon will ordain him to oversee all his possessions.
48But if that wicked slave says in his heart, Adoni (My Master) is dragging his feet,
49and that slave begins to beat his fellow avadim (slaves), and he eats and drinks with the ones getting drunk,
50the Adon of that slave will come on a day which he does not expect and at an hour of which he does not have daas.
51And the Adon will cut in two that slave, and the slaveʼs portion he will put with the tzevuim (hypocrites). There will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

Mattityahu (Mat) 24
24
1As Yeshua left the Temple and was going away, his talmidim came and called his attention to its buildings. 2But he answered them, “You see all these? Yes! I tell you, they will be totally destroyed — not a single stone will be left standing!”
3When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the talmidim came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that you are coming, and that the ‘olam hazeh is ending?”
4Yeshua replied: “Watch out! Don’t let anyone fool you! 5For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray. 6You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don’t become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come. 7For peoples will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; 8all this is but the beginning of the ‘birth-pains.’ 9At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and all peoples will hate you because of me. 10At that time many will be trapped into betraying and hating each other, 11many false prophets will appear and fool many people; 12and many people’s love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah. 13But whoever holds out till the end will be delivered. 14And this Good News about the Kingdom will be announced throughout the whole world as a witness to all the Goyim. It is then that the end will come.
15“So when you see the abomination that causes devastation spoken about through the prophet Dani’el standing in the Holy Place” (let the reader understand the allusion), 16“that will be the time for those in Y’hudah to escape to the hills. 17If someone is on the roof, he must not go down to gather his belongings from his house; 18if someone is in the field, he must not turn back to get his coat. 19What a terrible time it will be for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20Pray that you will not have to escape in winter or on Shabbat. 21For there will be trouble then worse than there has ever been from the beginning of the world until now, and there will be nothing like it again! 22Indeed, if the length of this time had not been limited, no one would survive; but for the sake of those who have been chosen, its length will be limited.
23“At that time, if someone says to you, ‘Look! Here’s the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ don’t believe him. 24For there will appear false Messiahs and false prophets performing great miracles — amazing things! — so as to fool even the chosen, if possible. 25There! I have told you in advance! 26So if people say to you, ‘Listen! He’s out in the desert!’ don’t go; or, ‘Look! He’s hidden away in a secret room!’ don’t believe it. 27For when the Son of Man does come, it will be like lightning that flashes out of the east and fills the sky to the western horizon. 28Wherever there’s a dead body, that’s where you find the vultures.
29“But immediately following the trouble of those times,
the sun will grow dark,
the moon will stop shining,
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the powers in heaven will be shaken.
30“Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, all the tribes of the Land will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with tremendous power and glory. 31He will send out his angels with a great shofar; and they will gather together his chosen people from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32“Now let the fig tree teach you its lesson: when its branches begin to sprout and leaves appear, you know that summer is approaching. 33In the same way, when you see all these things, you are to know that the time is near, right at the door. 34Yes! I tell you that this people will certainly not pass away before all these things happen. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
36“But when that day and hour will come, no one knows — not the angels in heaven, not the Son, only the Father. 37For the Son of Man’s coming will be just as it was in the days of Noach. 38Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up till the day Noach entered the ark; 39and they didn’t know what was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. It will be just like that when the Son of Man comes. 40Then there will be two men in a field — one will be taken and the other left behind. 41There will be two women grinding flour at the mill — one will be taken and the other left behind. 42So stay alert, because you don’t know on what day your Lord will come. 43But you do know this: had the owner of the house known when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44Therefore you too must always be ready, for the Son of Man will come when you are not expecting him.
45“Who is the faithful and sensible servant whose master puts him in charge of the household staff, to give them their food at the proper time? 46It will go well with that servant if he is found doing his job when his master comes. 47Yes, I tell you that he will put him in charge of all he owns. 48But if that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is taking his time’; 49and he starts beating up his fellow servants and spends his time eating and drinking with drunkards; 50then his master will come on a day the servant does not expect, at a time he doesn’t know; 51and he will cut him in two and put him with the hypocrites, where people will wail and grind their teeth!
