A Psalm.
1Oh, sing to the Lord a new song,
for He has done marvelous deeds!
His right hand and His holy arm
have accomplished deliverance.
2#Ps 63:1; 84:2 The Lord has made known His salvation;
His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.
3#Ps 79:10; 80:5 He has remembered His mercy
and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen
the deliverance of our God.
4#Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth;
break out in loud songs, and sing praises.
5#Ps 42:11; 43:5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of melody,
6#2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8–9 with trumpets and sound of the horn;
make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7#Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it,
the world and those who live in it;
8#Job 35:10; Ps 63:6 let the rivers clap their hands;
let the hills be joyful together
9#Ps 38:6; 18:2 before the Lord,
for He is coming to judge the earth.
With righteousness He will judge the world,
and the peoples with justice.
