43
1Vindicate me, O God,
and plead my cause against an ungodly nation;
deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
2#Ps 63:1; 84:2 For You are the God of my refuge;
why have You rejected me?
Why do I walk about mourning
because of the oppression of the enemy?
3#Ps 79:10; 80:5 Send out Your light and Your truth.
Let them lead me;
let them bring me to Your holy hill,
and to Your dwelling place.
4#Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8 Then I will go to the altar of God,
to the God of my joyful gladness;
with the harp I will give thanks to You,
O God, my God.
5#Ps 42:11; 43:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted withinme?
Hope in God;
for I will yet give Him thanks,
the salvation of my countenance and my God.
