1#Ge 30:23; Isa 13:12 And in that day seven women
shall take hold of one man, saying,
“We will eat our own bread,
and wear our own apparel,
only let us be called by your name,
to take away our reproach.”
The Branch of the Lord
2#Jer 23:5; Zec 3:8; 6:12In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for those of Israel who have escaped. 3#Lk 10:20; Isa 52:1He who is left in Zion and he who remains in Jerusalem shall be called holy, even everyone who is written among the living in Jerusalem. 4#Mal 3:2–3; Eze 36:25When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and has purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst by the spirit of justice and by the spirit of burning, 5#Ex 13:21–22; Nu 9:15–22then the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory shall be a covering. 6#Isa 25:4; Ps 27:5; Isa 32:2There shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and from rain.

1When this happens, seven women will grab the same man, and each of them will say, “I'll buy my own food and clothes! Just marry me and take away my disgrace.”#4.1 take away my disgrace: If a woman did not have a husband or children, it was thought that God was punishing her.
The Lord Will Bless His People Who Survive
2The time is coming when the Lord will make his land fruitful and glorious again, and the people of Israel who survive will take great pride in what the land produces. 3Everyone who is left alive in Jerusalem will be called special, 4after the Lord sends a fiery judgment to clean the city and its people of their violent deeds.

Then the Lord will cover the whole city and its meeting places with a thick cloud each day and with a flaming fire#4.5 thick … fire: This is how the Lord led the people of Israel during the 40 years they were in the desert (see Exodus 13.20-22; 40.36-38). each night. God's own glory will be like a huge tent that covers everything. 6It will provide shade from the heat of the sun and a place of shelter and protection from storms and rain.
