Isaiah 35

The Future Glory of Zion
1The #Is. 32:15; 55:12wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,
And the #Is. 41:19; 51:3desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
2#Is. 32:15It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice,
Even with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
The excellence of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the #Is. 40:5glory of the Lord,
The excellency of our God.
3#Job 4:3, 4; Heb. 12:12Strengthen the weak hands,
And make firm the feeble knees.
4Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with #Is. 34:8vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and #Ps. 145:19; Is. 33:22save you.”
5Then the #Is. 29:18; Matt. 9:27; John 9:6, 7eyes of the blind shall be opened,
And #(Matt. 11:5)the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6Then the #Matt. 11:5; 15:30; John 5:8, 9; Acts 8:7lame shall leap like a deer,
And the #Is. 32:4; Matt. 9:32; 12:22tongue of the dumb sing.
For #Is. 41:18; (John 7:38)waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.
7The parched ground shall become a pool,
And the thirsty land springs of water;
In #Is. 34:13the habitation of jackals, where each lay,
There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8A #Is. 19:23highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
#Is. 52:1; Joel 3:17; (Matt. 7:13, 14); 1 Pet. 1:15, 16; Rev. 21:27The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray.
9#Lev. 26:6; (Is. 11:7, 9); Ezek. 34:25No lion shall be there,
Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it;
It shall not be found there.
But the redeemed shall walk there,
10And the #Is. 51:11ransomed of the Lord shall return,
And come to Zion with singing,
With everlasting joy on their heads.
They shall obtain joy and gladness,
And #Is. 25:8; 30:19; 65:19; (Rev. 7:17; 21:4)sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Yeshayah (Isaiah) 35
35
1Let the wilderness and the dry place be glad for them, and let the desert rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2It blossoms much and rejoices, even with joy and singing. The esteem of Leḇanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Karmel and Sharon. They shall see the esteem of יהוה, the excellency of our Elohim.
3Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the weak knees.
4Say to those with anxious heart, “Be strong, do not fear! See, your Elohim comes with vengeance, with the recompense of Elohim. He is coming to save you.”
5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf be opened.
6Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing, because waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.
7And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water – in the home for jackals, where each lay, grass with reeds and rushes.
8And there shall be a highway, and a way, and it shall be called “The Way of Set-apartness.”#See Psa. 77:13 The unclean does not pass over it, but it is for those who walk the way, and no fools wander on it.
9No lion is there, nor any ravenous beast go up on it, it is not found there. But the redeemed shall walk there.
10And the ransomed of יהוה shall return and enter Tsiyon with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
