Isaiah 4
4
1At that time seven women will grab one man
and say, “We will eat our own bread
and make our own clothes,
but please marry us!
Please, take away our shame.”
The Branch of the Lord
2At that time the Lord’s branch will be very beautiful and great. The people still living in Israel will be proud of what the land grows. 3Those who are still living in Jerusalem will be called holy; their names are recorded among the living in Jerusalem. 4The Lord will wash away the filth from the women of Jerusalem. He will wash the bloodstains out of Jerusalem and clean the city with the spirit of fairness and the spirit of fire. 5Then the Lord will cover Mount Zion and the people who meet there with a cloud of smoke during the day and with a bright, flaming fire at night. There will be a covering over every person. 6This covering will protect the people from the heat of the sun and will provide a safe place to hide from the storm and rain.

Isaiah 4
4
1And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach.”
2 #
Jer 23.5; 33.15; Zech 3.8; 6.12. In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the pride and glory of the survivors of Israel. 3And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, every one who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem, 4when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning. 5Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy and a pavilion. 6It will be for a shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.
